Although you don’t mention here, I have read the Hellcat has a nickel boron fire control group which I expected at least would provide a smoother trigger than the stamped metal P365 fire control. In the mean time I bought a Hellcat, functions flawlessly, right out of the box and carries one more round than the Sig. This can cause damage and over time, cause the firing pin to break. All for half (or less) than what these SIG and Springfield pistols cost. I’ll keep my SIG, because I love the gun on itself, love the brand, love the 15 rounds mag (not cheap unfortunately) and love the fact that it’s made in the USA. It has a pressure switch which makes it easy to use and Sig did great with the design, however, I have big hands and with the normal P365 grip, the pressure switch pushes my middle knuckle down just enough to make me wish I had more grip. What We Like About the Sig Sauer P365: The first thing that stood out to us about the P365 is just how natural the gun feels in your hand. Another problem is for First and Second Gen owners only. The P365’s 12-rounder, however, is of the flawless extension variety with a forward-angled pinky ledge that feels great and a curved, backstrap-matching rear portion. Both were tiny but neither felt like like it. To update Springfield sent me a replacement handgun and let me pick a different Model as I did not want another Hellcat. No offense, lol. It is junk. Gun people have long memories, and Taurus has a VERY poor reputation when it comes to quality/reliability. So it takes a little more force to rack the Hellcat’s slide and it has some of the least effective slide serrations going. Choose the best weapons, improve their shooting and increase their knowledge on their rights. P365. Both pistols have a slight undercut to the trigger guard and slight bumps on the front of the grip housing for getting a firm hold on the gun. I’d probably still carry the LCP 2 most often though because it’s so easy and comfortable to carry and I’ve gotten fairly good at shooting it. I feel like it would be easier to fire for those with smaller hands, but it’s still rugged enough for those of you with bear paws. It’s nice to see that Springfield made it readily accessible out of the gate. There are many options in the CCW class but how do you pick the right one?.
